Meet the Director
Rammed earth builder Darcy Kidd brings over a decade of hands-on industry experience to every home he builds.
Growing up on the Mid North Coast of Australia, DK developed an early connection to the natural landscape that has shaped everything about the way he builds. Starting out as a carpenter, he built a deep, hands-on understanding of construction from the ground up, developing a respect for materials, craft, and the finer details that separate good buildings from great ones.
Combined with his passion for rammed earth and natural construction methods, his hands-on knowledge translates into homes that are not only beautifully built, but thoughtfully considered from conception to completion.
DK founded Monolith Constructions on the belief that building with the earth is both the most sensible and most meaningful way to create lasting homes. That belief, rooted in a lifetime spent connected to the Australian landscape, drives every project he takes on.
